Morocco – Ban on the export of ornamental species hosting Xylella fastidiosa
The Moroccan authorities introduced new phytosanitary requirements about the Xylella fastidiosa.
Especially, all ornamental plants hosting X. Fastidiosa and coming from countries where the bacterium is present, can not be imported in Morocco.
For the list of plants hosting Xylella fastidiosa, the reference is the EFSA list which includes a high number of species.
